When most people hear the word “healing” they have a vision of healing a physical wound, such as a cut, wounds, broken bones, etc., There are some people who also include emotional and/or mental healing in their thought process when they hear the term healing. What’s important to take on board is that as a human being we have three aspects, body, mind and spirit. Therefore, healing of our spiritual aspect must also be considered.
Spiritual healing is more than just an idea or concept, it is also an active process which involves moving towards wellness and feeling better. It can help support well being on all levels, physical, mental, emotional as well as spiritual.
Spiritual healing is about bringing all the pieces of your life–including your own personality–into alignment with your spiritual intent for this life. Spiritual healing involves change and growth. It also involves letting go of things that hold you back from being who you really are.
This site offers a wealth of resources not only to help you gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual area, but also to support your understanding of the spiritual healing process.
Our dictionary includes how to meditate, colour therapy, chakras, aura, crystals as well as many training programmes and spiritual coaching.
Spiritual healings help you get more in touch with yourself, your energy and your spiritual intent. As a spiritual being, you have an intent in life. You have come to the ‘university of life’ to have a human experience which involves learning and growth.
Becoming more aware of our inner self is a very important aspect of healing on all levels. If we fail to pay close attention to the subtle messages, we may miss important information. I often say to my participants “you need to start listening to your body and to your feelings”. Initially they ask, how can anyone listen to their body and feelings but they quickly realise they can, by taking time out to just be, to meditate and to look within.
You got the gift of your life but how many times do you give it away by not being true to yourself. When you do that, there is a spiritual issue that needs to be resolved. For example., Ignoring your heart’s desires by conforming to the requirements others. Depending on the recognition and acceptance of others to make you feel good. Believing that other people are better than you are. The is no such thing as a perfect human being. We are all here to learn lessons, grow and evolve. No two people are the same. You are perfect and whole just the way you are. Not realising that you are much more than your physical body and refusing to accept that everything in the universe is interconnected is really ignoring your own needs.
Spiritual issues are very subtle and when ignored manifest as symptoms in the lower levels such as mental emotional and physical. Sometimes, we can become aware of a symptom but how long is it before we can link it to the root cause. This symptom may manifest as a physical pain, emotional upset or even a mental disorder.
What most people do is look for solutions outside themselves. They seek someone or something to treat the symptom without also going inside to search for the real cause. On the surface the issue may appear healed but will true healing have been achieved?
With a spiritual issue, you will more than likely get many “reminders” but you will miss out on the true healing if all you are doing is addressing the messages rather than the root cause. It is crucial that you look within. Also, it may be helpful to look at the big picture. Is there a connection between various events? How long are you aware that things are our of balance? Using the combination of accessing your inner knowing and the external clues will surely help you to find and deal with your spiritual issue.
Take a look at the dictionary on this site there are lots of practices that may be helpful in dealing with spiritual issues. A number of the training programmes I have developed are specifically geared towards dealing with these issues. Make ‘ Quiet Me Time’ a daily practice and you will be amazed at how quick you can learn to listen to your feelings and your body.
